Notice of Construction Work at Futami Park
Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Jozankei Onsen. Please be informed that the “Toyohira River Environmental Improvement Project” will be carried out over a two-year period, during FY2026 and FY2027, at Futami Park (a popular autumn foliage spot near the hot spring town) and the surrounding Toyohira Riverbanks.
During the construction period, entry into the work zone within Futami Park will be prohibited. However, access to the Futami Suspension Bridge for autumn foliage viewing will remain open. To ensure a safe walk, a dedicated detour path for pedestrians will be established. Please follow the guidance signs to use the detour. (Scheduled to open on October 1; closed during the winter season.) Please note that construction vehicles will be using the area starting in late September. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by vehicle traffic, noise, or related disruptions, and we greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
