Experience authentic hot springs that refresh your skin and revive your body.

Savor the Blessings of Forests and Earth —
Jozankei Onsen, a Natural Hot Spring of Exceptional Quality

The natural hot springs that flow through the town of Jozankei are sodium chloride springs
(neutral, low-tonic, high-temperature hot springs) known for their clear water and mild, salty taste —
one of the most common and beloved spring types in Japan. When you bathe in it, the minerals adhere to your skin,
preventing the evaporation of sweat and warming your body from deep within.

Jozankei has 56 hot spring sources, most of which are concentrated near Tsukimi Bridge and Takayama Bridge
along the Toyohira River that flows through the town. Hot water naturally gushes from cracks in the riverbanks
and riverbed rock formations, creating an abundant geothermal flow.

The output is truly exceptional — 8,600 liters per minute, with a high spring temperature of 60 to 80°C —
a source of great pride for both its volume and quality.
