tocchan café
tocchan café is a coffee bean shop that grew out of the roasting at home hobby of a couple who love cats, cafes and bicycles, who wanted to enjoy as much of their own style of coffee as possible.
Starting as an online only shop, they opened a cafe and coffee bean shop in the onsen district of Jozankei on November 14th, 2020.
The proprietor has a bit of an unusual history as a shop owner, being a former All-Japan professional alpine snowboarder.
Coffee beans are shipped within three days of roasting to ensure absolute freshness.
(In-store pick-up is available for ordered items.)
Some of the more curiously named bean varieties are named after the owners’ cats.
Arbitrarily giving even non-blend beans odd names might be a little puzzling, but pardon the shop’s owners.
