Explore the Hokkaido from Jozankei

Jozankei is one of the greatest hot spring resorts in the central Hokkaido area, the highlight of Sapporo’s hot springs.
Jozankei is located at a convenient 40-minute drive from Sapporo, and in there are many other sightseeing spots in the surrounding area, such as Otaru, famous for music boxes and canals, and Niseko, where you can play in some of the best powder snow in the entire world.
You can find the Shikotsuko Onsen and the Toyako Onsen at the Shikotsu-Toya National Park, and Noribetsu Onsen is well-known to visitors of Jikokudani.
You can have fun seeing animals in their natural habitat at the northernmost zoo in Japan, Asahiyama Zoo in Asahikawa.
Another great idea is to make a round trip plan and rent a car so you can quickly travel between each of Hokkaido’s prominent sightseeing spots! Make sure you experience the unique features of each place!
